Voluntary Work @ National Zoo. - nadiah's FotoPage - nadnadnad

assalamualaikum...

as mentioned in the title above, i went to the National Zoo with a friend of mine, (zulzulzul.fp.com). i've totally forgotten the date!! OMG!! i'm such a mak nenek! ahaha
nvm, lets forget that. the date is not very important. what does is, what i did there.
well, for those who know me, i'm sure that they already know what was my ambition when i was small. i wanted to be a Vet. a veterinarian. yes, dokter hewan. why? because i'm an animal lover. believe it or not, i've rescued a puppy from a drain back in high school. after taking out the puppy from the drain, i quickly ran. i was afraid that the puppy might follow me home. ahaha. well, for the sake of being a good daughter, i agreed to follow my dad's suggestion, which was to take up TESL instead of staying in matriculation doing Biological Science (sains hayat). he got his owb reasons, which i appreciate alot because he's a father, n he knows what is best for his kids.

sooo here i am, stuck in the middle of teaching profession, part-time model, musician, and hobbyist photographer (sort of. ahaha )
duhh~~~ what a life~

jauh akak menyimpang dik non.
so lets get back to national zoo.
in the morning, zul arrived, fetched me up, tp aku yg drive. yela, kesian kt die. the night b4 he went everywhere in search of a printer just to print the volunteer form. printer aku lak jammed time tu. things like this, bile kite perlukan die, die buat hal, tp bile tanak gune, elokkkk jer. hish~~~
okeh, after we reached the zoo, we looked for the person in charge of the volunteers. guess what, she put us in the KITCHEN. not the kitchen for people okay, but for the animals in the zoo.
the atmosphere was very chaotic, even early in the morning. i couldn't get the chance to take pix of the kitchen bcuz i oso got very gelabah seeing everyone gelabah buat kerja.
ahaha

why do i say the atmosphere in the kitchen was very chaotic?
bcuz the feed the animals 4x a day.
yess~~~ 4x bebeh!!
n mind u, they feed the animals of the entire zoo!
so can u imagine we started to work at 8, till break at 12-2.30pm. during the break time, that was our time to stretch our body, pray, n go n snap here n there. tu pn x dpt cover abes. cuz we came back to the kitchen n prepare for some more meals.
mmg skt2 bdn gak ar. aku yg x leh angkat bnde berat ni pn menggagahkn diri buat keje2 berat. padahnye, blk tu melepek sakit perut. ahaha. pdn muke diri sndri. =p si zul lg teruk, siap kene tolak lori yg rosak time nk anta makanan.
so we ended our job at around 4. we took a walk in the zoo. wanted to take some pix of the animals tp diorang dah kenyang. so sume kerek, og panggil tamo pandang pon. ceh~
sokay, next tym insyaAllah i'll go again, as a volunteer. this time nk g kt tmpat anjing laut. bleh peluk2 amik gmba. ahaha =p

just want to say thanks alot to zul sbb kalo ko x ajk aku, mmg aku x dpt peluang nk g. aku mmg da lame nk wt bnde ni tp tade kaki n tade org ajk. huhu~
